Coalition “Community Forum” Reports on the State of Child Abuse and Child Welfare Systems in Tulsa County

On April 5, 2016, the Child Protection Coalition hosted a Community Forum on Child Abuse in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month.  Experts from the Tulsa child welfare and research communities presented statistical data and professional insights regarding the trends and challenges of child maltreatment in Tulsa County.  These experts took questions from the audience regarding critical child welfare issues.  You may watch the forum here.  The Coalition will host additional forums in the future to engage the citizens of Tulsa about ways we can leverage our resource already existing in our community to reduce child abuse.  The Forum included the following experts:
